De-stress for Success - Michael writes for RSVP magazine

It’s that time of the year again when students, parents and teachers begin to feel nervous and stressed because it’s exam time. huge expectations and a desire to achieve places huge stress on everyone and failure is not even contemplated. stress is neither negative nor positive. it is just the body’s normal response to challenge. a certain amount of stress or tension probably helps you perform to the best of your ability but if you become distressed it will lead to lots of problems, affecting your ability to function to the highest standard possible. Parents also push their children to achieve certain standards, which puts too much pressure on them and leads only to illness, poor concentration and lack of focus; affecting their retention and causing a memory block resulting in them not achieving their goal.
